Cash is King
Cash or instant bank transfer on the spot is safest. Avoid cheques or complex digital transfers.
Inspect First
Check the item thoroughly before paying. Don't pay for what you haven't seen in person.
No Upfront Payments
Never pay in advance for shipping or "holding" the item. Deal locally only.
Common Scams to Avoid
The "Overpayment" Scam
A buyer sends a fake cheque for more than the item's value and asks you to refund the difference. Never accept overpayments.
Remote Shipping
Seller refuses to meet and insists on shipping the item after payment. BidsBlue is a local marketplace; keep it local.
Verification Codes
Fraudsters may ask for your OTP or login code to "verify" you. Never share your codes with anyone.
